Our Story is hosted by Baba Wes “W.C.” Johnson, a long-time social justice activist in New Orleans. Since the 1980s, Baba Wes has organized against police brutality in Black communities and founded Community United for Change (CUC). In the 1990s, he launched OurStory Radio to spotlight Black issues, later expanding it into a live public access TV program. Baba Wes has traveled nationwide, sharing lessons on Black identity and empowerment.
