The Context of White Supremacy hosts the weekly forum on Neutralizing Workplace Racism. Now that Thanksgiving is behind us, “holiday” season 2021 is in full bloom. Now that we have vaccines and many companies’s workforce have returned to the office – at least to some degree, many bosses are resurrecting Christmas parties. We’ll discuss tips for navigating these potential crass, dangerous events. We’ll also review the ongoing madness around vaccine. This week offered more evidence of unequal enforcement of vaccine policies, where White people and non-white people are not subjected to the same rules and punishments around the Covid-19 vaccine and social distancing. We’ll also remind full time students to be mindful of destructive peer pressure from their fellow classmates (co-workers). We also share tips on cyber security when working with an employee-issued computer or phone.
