BTR News – Recap of the latest events in covering the issue of the removal of a confederate idol perched high in the air in front of the Gaston County, NC courthouse. OF particular interest was Will Grice, formerly of Mt. Holly and someone I’ve known since I was 13 yrs old. Mr. Grice, an old negro man, gave a very angry public comment defending the monument citing the fake civil war history neo-confederates started pushing about the end of Reconstruction and introduction of Jim Crow racial segregation and racist policing.
