The C.O.W.S. Compensatory Call-In 05/30/20

The Context of White Supremacy hosts the weekly Compensatory Call-In. We encourage non-white listeners to dial in with their codified concepts, new terms, observations, research findings, workplace problems or triumphs, and/or suggestions on how best to Replace White Supremacy With Justice ASAP. We’ll use these sessions to hone our use of words as tools to reveal truth, neutralize White people. We’ll examine news reports from the past seven days and – hopefully – promote a constructive dialog. 

#ANTIBLACKNESS

The conclusion of May 2020, like nearly the entirety of 2020, was a culmination of White Terrorism, black death and suffering. The chaos and confusion of the Covid-19 crisis continues with the U.S. reporting more than 100,000 deaths from the virus. Brazil now reports the 2nd most cases in the world. Black people on both continents have suffered greatly from the virus, White Supremacist medical practices, and misinformation around the the health crisis. In midst of all this, protests rage across the country. Armed Whites have been raging against stay at home regulations for more than a month. Now, demonstrations across the country mark the latest black male to be killed by enforcement officers. Minnesota’s George Floyd was killed by Suspected Race Soldier Derek Chauvin. The now-terminated White officer was arrested and charged this week with Floyd’s murder. The protests in Minnesota escalated, one person was reportedly shot. In Kentucky, marches recognizing the murder of Breonna Taylor were disrupted by gunfire. Seven people were shot. Atlanta and numerous other cities have also experienced major disruptions. These protests might be the “boogaloo” a number of newly armed Racists were hoping would happen.
