South African Parliament Passes Motion To Take Black Land From Colonizer’s Descendants

The parliament of South Africa has voted to back a motion to amend the countries constitution to allow for expropriation of land without compensating the whites who are on that land. The African National Congress has long been promising reforms to redress disparities that are a result of racism against the Black population and two decades after the end of South Africa’s apartheid government, white South Africans are in possession of most of South Africa’s land following centuries of brutal colonial dispossession and theft of that land.
