Democrats are blasting the passage of a $4 trillion budget, which is a prelude to Republican tax cuts and tax reform legislation.

By a narrow 216-212 margin, the House passed a fiscal 2018 budget already approved by the Senate. The budget is a necessary hurdle before the Republican-controlled Congress can begin work on a one-point-five trillion dollar tax cut bill. House Speaker Paul Ryan says the motivation for tax reform is middle class tax cuts, simplicity, and easier filings.
