The Context of White Supremacy hosts the weekly Compensatory Call-In. We encourage non-white listeners to dial in with their codified concepts, new terms, observations, research findings, workplace problems or triumphs, and/or suggestions on how best to Replace White Supremacy With Justice ASAP. We’ll use these sessions to hone our use of words as tools to reveal truth, neutralize White people. We’ll examine news reports from the past seven days and – hopefully – promote a constructive dialog. President Donald J. Trump’s controversial immigration ban remains temporarily blocked after an appeals court upheld last week’s decision. The week wasn’t a total loss for the Trump White House, as Betsy DeVos and Jeff Sessions were each confirmed as Secretary of Education and Attorney General respectively. Both nominees faced vocal – and, ultimately, impotent – opposition to their appointments. One of the more vocal critics of federal bureaucrats, Cliven Bundy’s trial is set to commence for his 2014 armed showdown with government officials. Some pundits suspect that “White nationalists” will be emboldened if the Bundy patriarch is not punished for his militant defiance of federal authority. Showing the opposite end of police negotiations, French police are accused of anally raping a black male. Al Jazeera reports the “police investigation concluded that the anal rape of a young black man by an officer using a truncheon was an accident.” Canadian authorities demonstrated similar restraint, brutalizing a six-year-old black child.
