The C.O.W.S. Housing Terrorism in North Carolina

The Context of White Supremacy Radio Program welcomes black residents of North Carolina. These C.O.W.S. listeners have endured massive abuse with regards to their housing situation. They noted problems with the property when they initially moved in and notified the White property managers of these issues. The Whites initially agreed to repair the damages, but months later, the problem has not been corrected. Now, the White property managers are holding the black residents responsible for these damages. Our guests requested a meeting to solve the problem. However, they reported that the White Woman in charge was hostile, tacky and ultimately charged them with being disruptive. We’ll emphasize the importance of documenting and keeping organized, detailed records when dealing with Whites and the gargantuan importance of managing our emotions.
