The Context of White Supremacy takes time to reflect on the devastation of Hurricane Katrina in 2005. The storm missed New Orleans, but a poorly constructed levee system failed and left more than 80% of the city under water. White Terrorists seized the opportunity to kill black people. After ten years, many black people have not recovered from one of the worst disasters in history. Gus will offer his this period and the significance of this tragedy to his understanding of Racism.
