The C.O.W.S. Compensatory Call-In 05/16/15

The Context of White Supremacy hosts the weekly Compensatory Call-In. We encourage non-white listeners to dial in with their codified concepts, new terms, observations, research findings, workplace problems or triumphs, and/or suggestions on how best to Replace White Supremacy With Justice ASAP. We’ll use these sessions to hone our use of words as tools to reveal truth, neutralize White people. We’ll examine news reports from the past seven days and – hopefully – promote a constructive dialog.
This week marked the 30th anniversary of the 1985 bombing of the MOVE house in Philadelphia. Whites reflected on the 11 adults and children who were killed and the more than 50 black houses burned to the ground. No one was criminally charged for this catastrophe, and this week it was announced that no one would be charged for the police killing of Tony Robinson. Swift and punitive action was taken against New Jersey public school teacher Marilyn Zuniga; she was terminated for permitting her 3rd grade students to write “get well” cards to journalist and convicted cop killer Mumia Abu Jamal. And Dzhokhar Tsarnaev was sentenced to the death penalty; perhaps this impacted some of our listeners thoughts on whether or not the convicted bomber is accepted as White. Chicago had a bit of it all: An announcement of millions in reparations for black victims of Chicago Police Terrorism. And Chicago’s South Side being chosen for the Barack Obama presidential library.
