The Context of White Supremacy hosts the fourth study session on one of the most popular books ever printed, The Autobiography of Malcolm X: As Told To Alex Haley (1965). There continues to be a good deal of conversation about Minister Malcolm X’s legacy in the wake of the 50 year anniversary of his murder. The Department of Justice’s indictment of a systemically Racist police and municipal court structure in Ferguson illustrate the relevance and urgency of El Hajj Malik Shabazz’s work. Last week’s installment described the predatory environment produced by the System of White Supremacy; black people robbed, cheated, burglarized, prostituted and killed other black people because black lives don’t matter. Minister Malcolm confessed his participation in this delinquent world and reminded readers that Whites are most to blame for this toxic environment. He included how White enforcement officers managed and benefited from so called black on black crime. He also provided a graphic indictment of White sexual deviance. White sexual predators would descend on black areas or pay top dollar to deliver black males and females to their White doorsteps to be sexually violated.
