Time for an Awakening: Green Party VP Candidate and Educator Butch Ware

“Time for an Awakening” for Sunday 12/15/2024 at 7:00 PM (EST) 6:00 PM (CST) guest will be Activist, Organizer (former Vice- Presidential Green Party candidate), Prof. of Black and Islamic Studies at  UC Santa-Barbara, Dr. Bilal (Butch) Ware. The conversation with our guest Dr. Ware could go in many different directions. Still, it will center around the need for independent political organizing in Black communities across the country, focusing on local elections andalternatives to the direction of Black political leadership in the current Two-party system. In 2024, from the need to develop a new mindset in our communities, to our political and economic empowerment, the solution to these problems must come from us. Let’s also talk about some solutions.
