The C.O.W.S. Neutralizing Workplace Racism 02/19/21

The Context of White Supremacy hosts the weekly forum on Neutralizing Workplace Racism. We’ll continue to adapt to how the coronavirus is disrupting the work environment. New York City is filed suit against Amazon citing the online retail giants failure to protect workers during the beginning of the Covid-19 crisis. Workers in a variety of fields continue to navigate the best way to protect their own safety while hoping their employers are being honest with them and protecting workers’ safety. We’ll also discuss the corporate response the January 6th Capitol siege. Some businesses have taken punitive actions against workers who were present for the treasonous mayhem. This could impact the future of how businesses “police” the off-the-clock and social media conduct of workers.
