Donald Trump as the record would suggest is a liar so it should come as no surprise that he is breaking yet again, another campaign promise that he would not “touch” Social Security and Medicare.
According to the news outlets like Vox,
“Trump’s 2020 budget proposal aims to spend $1.5 trillion less on Medicaid — instead of allocating $1.2 trillion in a block-grant program to states — $25 billion less on Social Security, and $845 billion less on Medicare (some of that is reclassified to a different department). Their intentions are to cut benefits under Medicaid and Social Security. The impact on Medicare is more complicated”
Then we have the fact that federal debt on US Citizens has grown 2 Trillion dollars during the Trump administration which is an average of 1 Trillion a year just two years into its first term and accorded to right-leaning conservative NewsMax, the real debt might be $230 Trillion.
The Real US National Debt Might Be $230 Trillion
Today lets discuss this and more on Thando Radio Show and have an overall discussion on debt owed to those who paid into these government programs and the Trump administration signaling it has no intention on servicing that debt.
The Thando Radio Show covers news and current events and how those events might impact our community and explore options to effectively respond to be in a position of advantage.
