The C.O.W.S. Compensatory Call-In 11/10/18

The Context of White Supremacy hosts the weekly Compensatory Call-In. We encourage non-white listeners to dial in with their codified concepts, new terms, observations, research findings, workplace problems or triumphs, and/or suggestions on how best to Replace White Supremacy With Justice ASAP. We’ll use these sessions to hone our use of words as tools to reveal truth, neutralize White people. We’ll examine news reports from the past seven days and – hopefully – promote a constructive dialog. 

#ANTIBLACKNESS

The midterm elections produced as much sizzle and racial theater as a Marvel’s Black Panther and Shonda Rhimes’s Scandal marathon. As Gus T. predicted, Ron DeSantis was declared the victor in the Florida governor’s race. While Andrew Gillum hoped to be the black first in Florida, Georgia’s Stacey Abrams also lost a closely contested gubernatorial race to a White man. Both contests appear to be headed towards a mandatory recount; none of which suggests these black hopefuls will be taking office. While some Whites chose the ballot, others continue to use the bullet as there was a mass shooting in California that left a dozen dead. When CNN’s Don Lemon commented on the threat of White terrorism, a White firefighter branded the journalist a nigger. President Donald J. Trump neutralized a perceived internal threat by requesting the resignation of Attorney General Jeff Session, the former U.S. Senator and Suspected Racist stepped down and was temporarily replaced by Matthew Whitaker.
