Colin Kaepernick in December of 2016 made a 1 Million dollar pledge to invest in organizations doing social work in the community. He is nearing the end of that pledge and asked several celebrities to match some of his donations in the last $100,000 of the pledge. It is interesting and telling in just how many celebrities are not making pledges with Kaepernick and don’t want to be connected to the movement he started.
