The Context of White Supremacy hosts our Thursday weekly forum on neutralizing Workplace Racism. The purpose for this broadcast is to improve non-white people’s problem-solving ability and refine how black people think, speak, act and manage emotions while at work. Any listeners who’ve discovered the best strategy to minimize disputes with White and/or non-white co-workers, avoid demotions, write-ups, terminations or other violence we experience under Racist work conditions should be first to dial in with particulars. We’re always grateful for the observations of “black entrepreneurs;” please, share with us how being “self employed” improves your labor experience. We’re in the middle of the “holiday season,” we’ll review strategies for surviving office parties and how to decline gift-giving exercises. We’ll exchange counter-racist strategies from listeners as well as individual reflections from your own work history. Gus encourages that Victims of Racism write down significant workplace episodes. Documenting your thoughts and workplace occurrences is more dependable than memory, and the act of documenting can clarify your thinking. We’ll also ask that non-white listeners share significant portions of the policy and procedure from your current place of employment.
