Welcome to BTR News and the first in a series of podcasts this month in highlighting the 9th Anniversary of the Black Talk Media Project, a US-based non-profit media education organization and service provider and Black Talk Radio Network, a platform founded to provide a safe digital space for broadcasters and podcasters producing media for the global black community. The platform and the media non-profit were founded in November of 2008.
Our first interview in this series is with our first client and broadcaster, Gus T. Renegade who manages and produces the digital radio program and radio station The Context of White Supremacy. Mr. Renegade is a prolific media producer and has witnessed the growth and the expanding influence of Black Talk Radio first hand. We spoke with him about the beginnings of The C.O.W.S and how it has expanded its programming since coming to the network. Check out the wealth of podcast archives of The C.O.W.S. here.
