Today is the June 21st, 2017 broadcast of New Abolitionists Radio. It is the longest day of the year on the summer equinox. We are 2 months away from the MILLIONS FOR PRISONERS HUMAN RIGHTS MARCH ON WASHINGTON, DC August 19th, and things will only get hotter from here. On this day in History, 1964 James Chaney, Michael Schwerner, and Andrew Goodman were kidnapped and killed in what is known as the Neshoba County, Mississippi Freedom Summer murders. Also on this day, New Hampshire became the ninth and last necessary state to ratify the Constitution of the United States, thereby making the document the law of the land.
Green Party member and abolitionist candidates for the US Congress did not win the special election in the 5th District of South Carolina but he did make history in the state as perhaps its first ever slavery abolitionist candidate considering the Confederate history of the Palmetto state. Will catch up with Green Party members David Kulma and Gregg Jocoy and get their thoughts on modern-day slavery and human trafficking permissible by way of the exception for slavery clause of the 13th Amendment of the US Constitution.
Max and Scotty were invited to speak about prison slavery abolitionist at the campaign headquarters of David Kulma in Rock Hill, SC last Sunday. It was a very inspiring event. We will share some audio excerpts of their speeches.
Senator Kamala Harris is getting celebrity treatment from the left-leaning media and was even mentioned as a good candidate for President in 2020 by Tim Wise. Kamala Harris shared her music playlist for African-American Music Month and gave Juneteenth Shout Outs but we can not help but ask, how can people support a woman who as California AG supported that state’s prison slavery operations and rather than let low-level offenders out of prison to ease overcrowding as ordered by the SCOTUS instead worked with other California officials to contract with private prison slave companies instead.
New Abolitionists Radio seeks to educate listeners to the glaring fact that slavery was never abolished and is still practiced by the state and federal governments constituting the United States of America along with multi-national corporations. The main purpose of this program to agitate for an end to 21st Century Slavery and Human Trafficking by any means necessary. The radio program is an extension of the group Move To Abolish 21st Century Slavery.
