New York City Police Commissioner William Bratton has offered an apology to former tennis professional James Blake after being body slammed, handcuffed and roughed up by NYPD last week. Blake who’s bi-racial isn’t really saying the incident was racially motivated. Until recently, most of us had never heard of Kim Davis, the Kentucky clerk that preferred jail rather than grant marriage licenses to same sex couples because of religious beliefs. Well, we all know of her now! In addition to capturing major media and political attention, some are comparing her actions to Rosa Parks and Dr. King.
