In an article by The Daily Beast, Elaine Brown, who led the Black Panther Party from 1974-1977 and ran for president in 2008, has some very strong words in her critique of the film. The former party Chairman was so displeased with the film she wanted her interview portion removed.
Lets also take a look at critique of Black Lives Matter by new abolitionists activist Yohannan Eliya who in the context of COINTELPRO wrote of concerns about individuals in the movement.
COINTELPRO of today; Black Lives Matter stumping for the LGBTQ’s more than Blacks overall, staging events like physically taking the mic from Bernie Sanders, their so-called associates arrested and placed under $250K bail for tweeting “kill white people”, and on and on… same gubmint tactics as forever.
White supremacist protectionisms are quite simplistic in these cases, simply because they do not have to evolve. The people continue to fall for the same ol’ bullshit. The techniques and tactics of racist, white supremacist counter-intelligence look, sound, and feel the same as they ever have.
Its not just the war they are fighting against Blacks in America- its also evident in the “worldwide war on terror”- check ISIS/ISIL, go back and check the Taliban’s same techniques and many other “”terrorist” groups, which invariably can be shown to have roots in CIA training/ops.
Hell, go back and check not only the ’60’s and ’70’s- but how about the women’s suffrage movement rising up to co-opt Black freedom movements of that day?
Wash, Rinse… Repeat.
