The C.O.W.S. Compensatory Call-In 07/11/15

The Context of White Supremacy hosts the weekly Compensatory Call-In. We encourage non-white listeners to dial in with their codified concepts, new terms, observations, research findings, workplace problems or triumphs, and/or suggestions on how best to Replace White Supremacy With Justice ASAP. We’ll use these sessions to hone our use of words as tools to reveal truth, neutralize White people. We’ll examine news reports from the past seven days and – hopefully – promote a constructive dialog.

In what’s being hailed as a definitive moment in South Carolina history, a jubilant crowd rejoiced as the Confederate battle flag was snatched from the Capitol grounds. The verbal kerfuffle over Confederate monuments and White Supremacist memorabilia has received far more attention than the fact that Dylann Storm Roof should never have been allowed to purchase a gun. Roof, Whitefolks are not subjected to the same scrutiny and punitive assumptions as Florida State’s De’Andre Johnson. The star athlete was dismissed from the football team and arrested following an altercation with a White Woman in a bar. The White chic allegedly called Johnson racial slurs, struck him in the groin and is seen on video assaulting the black male before he punches her. She will not been charged. Bill Cosby hasn’t been charged either, but details of an unsealed deposition have all but convicted the once beloved funnyman.
