The Context of White Supremacy hosts the weekly Compensatory Call-In. We encourage non-white listeners to dial in with their codified concepts, new terms, observations, research findings, workplace problems or triumphs, and/or suggestions on how best to Replace White Supremacy With Justice ASAP. We’ll use these sessions to hone our use of words as tools to reveal truth, neutralize White people. We’ll examine news reports from the past seven days and – hopefully – promote a constructive dialog.Whites again joyously commemorated earlier events in the history of White Supremacy. This week marked the annual Holocaust Remembrance Day and the ongoing recognition of the 150 year anniversary of the US Civil War’s conclusion. Whites in New York City joined the fun by announcing a plaque to recognize how the torture and enslavement of black people played an essential “role in creation of American capitalism.” New Jersey teacher Marilyn Zuniga remains suspended from the classroom for encouraging her students to write get well cards to incarcerated black journalist Mumia Abu-Jamal. Speaking of black confinement and the black holocaust, Whites released the macabre details of Natasha McKenna’s death. “The 130-pound, shackled, mentally ill [black] woman received four 50,000-volt shocks as she struggled and screamed, ‘You promised you wouldn’t hurt me!‘”
