Rev. Dr. William J. Barber, II, head of NC NAACP was a guest on MSNBC’s Up With Steve Kornacki to discuss the attempts to suppress votes in North Carolina by Republicans who dominate the legislature and hold the governor’s office.
In 2013, a North Carolina Republican was forced to resign after he admitted North Carolina’s Voter Id law was meant to suppress the votes of people who do not typically vote Republican.
