ANCHORAGE, Alaska - A legislative committee investigating Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin has found she unlawfully abused her authority in firing the state's public safety commissioner.
Actually the spin has been in overdrive since Palin was announced to the world but the verdict is in and Palin is guilty as charge. I wonder if this gets as much coverage as the first O.J. trial on Fox News.
"Palin supporters have called the investigation politically motivated."
Of course they did, what else do you expect, they are just as unethical is she is if not more. A legislative panel over the investigation started looking into Palin before Aug 1, 2008 when they hired an independent investigator. The legislative board was made up of 8 Republicans and 4 Democrats with the Republicans holding the chair. John "Bad Judgement" McCain plucked Palin from the oil fields of Alaska and announced his pick on August 29, 2008.
The Republican dominated panel voted unanimously that Palin is guilty as charged.
To hear idiots tell it, Barack Obama went back in time to gain influence over Alaskan Republicans and convinced them to investigate Palin. Neo had alot of power and abilities but going back in time wasn't one of them. Neo could however see flashes of future events so I guess he set this all up sometime in July 2008. The Republicans might be on to something. Nah!
"Monegan says he was dismissed as retribution for resisting pressure to fire a state trooper involved in a bitter divorce with the governor's sister."
Ain't it a McShame when you get brought down by your own stupid actions. Palin had trouble separating personal business from state business.
Palin has already admitted the pressure came from those working for her. If Barack Obama is responsible for Bill Ayers's actions when Obama was eight years old, then certainly Palin should take her on medicine and be held accountable for those she chose to work for her and husband's actions. Remember, she is married to Todd "the white Separatist" Palin.
"Palin says Monegan was fired as part of a legitimate budget dispute."
Screeeeching Halt here. Palin's office approved the lobbying trips to Washington, Dc. Thats old news but not something you are not going to hear from the Republican spin machine. Credibility and Character, something McCain/Palin knows nothing about.
Now McCain has to be worried about being linked to not only Bush but his on V.P. pick, this has got to be the most entertaining year in U.S. election history. I feel cheated though, it would have been more dramactic if the results had been released on the original date of October 31. They have spoiled the October Surprise! Oh well, we still can be entertain by McCain pundits trying to talk him up while keeping a straight face.
