CBS is reporting that the GOP is blatantly engineering a voter purge which targets Black-Americans and other so-called minority groups specifically and targets registered Democrats generally. This is the same type of attack on the civil rights of Florida voters that occurred in 2000 and eventually led to the selection of George W. Bush as the 43rd President of the United States. His brother Jeb was governor of Florida at the time.
CBS is reporting,
In 2000, at the direction of a Republican Governor, Florida state officials quietly engaged in a campaign to disenfranchise voters. Conveniently, the purge of “felons” removed thousands of legitimate voters from county rolls – the vast majority of them Democrats.
The election day discovery by thousands of legitimate voters in Florida that they were deemed ineligible to vote was one of the biggest problems across the state. That and numerous other mistakes led to a chaotic and embarrassing Presidential recount.
After the lessons of that election you would hope that our public servants would be fixing voting problems, not creating new ones. Not so. Undeterred by Florida’s many embarrassing electoral failures, Florida Governor Rick Scott has launched a campaign of his own to remove voters from the state’s rolls. Unlike the 2000 purge, this one is being done very much in the public light. Read more...
Perhaps the reason elected officials feel so confident and bold to practice racism and political supremacy out in the open like this is because they never go to jail let alone tried criminally. It should be a criminal offence worthy of up to life in prison to tamper with or deny a sacredly held human right that countless souls have given up their lives to obtain.
Too many of these officials live above the law.
The irony in all this is that the US Justice Department is relied upon to protect these rights in a court of law when they themselves act like criminals. Need I remind you that it was the U.S Justice Department that gave clearance to the Bush administration to torture human beings with one Justice Dept lawyer saying the President has the authority to torture children.
Now we have a President walking around with a kill list in his pocket to decide at any moment who lives and dies at his whim.

There will be no justice for the family of Ramarley Graham unless another indictment against NYPD Officer Richard Haste is issued by another grand jury. Ramarley Graham is a teen who was shot in his grandmother’s bathroom while allegedly trying to flush a small amount of marijuana down the toilet. A Bronx judge tossed the indictment of the officer who shot and killed Graham claiming he had a gun but none was found. Citing mistakes…

The inquiry into the deaths of four Americans in Benghazi, Libya by conservatives to this point has been little more than an expression of white supremacy and political theater. What the inquiry is saying is that only "American" lives matter and not the lives of the thousands killed in Libya or those that are still being killed and displaced from their homes due to ethnic cleansing by forces backed by the United States. The…
