Correct Obama is no Malcolm or Martin...he's 1000 times better. They were caught up in the myth that Whites are Superior and messed around and got killed. Racists and Black Sellouts will never get to Obama.

Comment by hurueugene on January 25, 2012 at 10:53am WWooooww Tkcal Obama aint no Martin or MalcolmX. First Malcolm was fighting for his peoples he believe we never should have segregated with the whites u see were it got us nowhere. And Martin was coming around to that same thought as Malcolm because he said he was guiding his peoples to a burning house meaning segregating with whites trying to be their friends. Now look what been happening over all these years my Brother that all i have to say

Comment by Linda14 on March 21, 2012 at 10:38pm City of Sanford Fla commission has just voted no confidence on Police Chief.
Comment by Linda14 on March 21, 2012 at 10:41pm Chief issued statement to city Mgr Bonaparte actually stating that Zimmerman was heading back to his car and Trayvon pursued HIM! Not a single witness corroborating statement, all others who made the 911 calls said the opposite. One of them even saw the guy on top of Trayvon and said so.
Comment by Linda14 on March 21, 2012 at 10:42pm This is why they did not want to release the tapes, because they had already "wrapped up" their investigation with nothing but lies, and the 911 tapes prove they are lying. Also the phone conversation with the girlfriend.
Comment by sarah jones on April 5, 2012 at 1:01am Where is the podcast for April 3 with Dr Johnson? I missed the live show and was searching to hear the podcast and it's not in your archived shows
Comment by Black Talk Radio News on April 5, 2012 at 12:09pm @sarahjones, Dr. Johnson was not able to make this program he is coming back next week. I ran the 2009 interview which proved to be difficult getting in touch with him, but eventually did. The Link is http://blacktalkradionetwork.com/events/the-silent-truth-about-lave...

Jasmine Thar, a 16 yr old African American was shot and killed December 23, 2011 while in her Godmother's yard in Chadbourn, NC preparing for a routine shopping trip to Myrtle Beach. Jasmine was doing what most teens do, texting, when the shot rang out. Two others were injured by the same bullet. A 23 yr old Caucasian male who was in the house across the street where the shot came from claims it was an accident. He was taken in for questioning but was not charged. The families of this tragedy lives will forever be changed.

Comment by douglas dancer on May 17, 2012 at 6:42am when you have politics, the cia, fbi and the illuminati all working together too keep the fuel ignited there is always going to be tenion, these fabrications are made purposely too keep the damn blood pressure of the people up in society, people in hidden places are hiding truth to try and cause a race war while you and me are fighting the illumilnati are having sacrifices with our children, all this is a bullshit front. do your research and you will find out that one life does not mean anything too men in power brother, research it yourself, i have.
Comment by C. Leon Bynum on July 3, 2012 at 10:44pm I have read your comments, and many of your observations are spot on, and I thank you for your contributions. We hear from christians words like "dont let the devil destroy your joy", and we should not allow ourselves to be caught up in the white supremacy modality's every day madness. But, Black/Afrikan people, dont ever let "sleep" (no matter how comfortable you may feel)overtake you. Each day, I thank those who have made their transition, and those who are still fighting the good fight for their hard work and diligence. Bro's Martin, Malcom, and hundreds of others, sisters also, have given their all for our collective benefit. What better way to show our appreciation for all the sacrifices they made for us, than by studying, working, and carrying on the work they started. When I find myself feeling the weight of "my everyday existance", I think of the ones who made the ultimate sacrifice for us all, and I smile and say (back to work) HOTEP C. Leon Bynum Jr

Comment by Emile Sissac Jr. on August 31, 2012 at 1:18pm Scotty: Your shows of late have all been a "must-listen". I really enjoy the chosen topics of discussion, interviews and mature dialogue by you and your guests.
Also, Kudos to Pam of Trojan Horse Press (a personal favorite!) for her supportive commentary about restoring self-esteem and self-respect within Black culture. We need more expansive discussions in this particular area, considering the damaging images (garbage!) that passes before the world as contemporary Black media and entertainment. As the saying goes, "image is everything."
Best of success and keep up the good work you do so well Scotty! I will do my best to support BTRN as best I can!
Comment by Emile Sissac Jr. on October 17, 2012 at 6:17pm Scotty: Outstanding show as well as very interesting interview with Sister Anisa Abd El Fattah (October 15, 2012). I am very concerned about the misinformation being disseminated about the coming economic crisis. I want to become a part of "The Community Food Initiative" and am grateful that we have people such as Sister Abd El Fattah with such foresight. Keep up the great work that you do and know that you do have loyal listeners out here!

There will be no justice for the family of Ramarley Graham unless another indictment against NYPD Officer Richard Haste is issued by another grand jury. Ramarley Graham is a teen who was shot in his grandmother’s bathroom while allegedly trying to flush a small amount of marijuana down the toilet. A Bronx judge tossed the indictment of the officer who shot and killed Graham claiming he had a gun but none was found. Citing mistakes…

The inquiry into the deaths of four Americans in Benghazi, Libya by conservatives to this point has been little more than an expression of white supremacy and political theater. What the inquiry is saying is that only "American" lives matter and not the lives of the thousands killed in Libya or those that are still being killed and displaced from their homes due to ethnic cleansing by forces backed by the United States. The…
