The Black Talk Radio Network aims to be your home for grassroots media. It was created in 2008 as a platform to feature Black online radio hosts and the programs they produce that are made publically availiable through various platforms. Overtime we have begun to become a source of information with original reporting and video.
With the syndication of terrestrial radio, the Black community lost many voices as most of the stations were bought up by corporate conglomerates. The internet, while increasing sources of information, has been detrimental to the newspaper industry which includes black-owned papers targeting the black community.
In order to connect those who are seeking out independent voices, Black Talk Radio Network is where they can connect with several media partners who offer a variety of programming, blogs and news articles from entertainment, news, politics, heath, and cultural issues.
