The biggest lies ever perpuated and being taught in schools is that slavery was abolished in 1863 by the 13th Amendment and Jim Crow ended with the passage of the Civil Rights Act of 1964.
When it is legal for corporations to offer states cash to buy their prisoners with an agreement to keep the prisons 90% full, slavery still exist.
When being labled a felon regulates a person to second class citizenship, Jim Crow still exists.
